A couple of weeks ago we asked our Facebook fans to share pictures of their pets (since we talk incessantly about Burger) and got an awesome response – over 100 photos and links of their four-legged friends (which you can browse right here under Fan Photos). So we figured a giveaway geared towards your pooches (and meowsers) was in order. Enter AllModernPet.com stage right…

One lucky pet parent will win their choice of an awesome easy-on-the-eyes bed so their furry family member can sleep in style (and your pup’s “bedroom” can be as stylish as your own).

DOGGONE IT.
I operate a small animal rescue group out of Richmond, VA so I constantly have foster pups coming in and out on their way to forever homes. My current foster girl, Aspen, is a deaf & blind 8 week old Catahoula Leopard puppy. Her favorite spot to sleep is snuggled underneath the edge of my radiator covers. Luckily, in the middle of the summer it’s totally safe – and she’ll be FAR too big to fit by this winter.

Barkei loves to sleep in the cats scratching post/tree and always ends up with her head falling out of the hole completely limp.

DOGGONE IT! Our not so little Creole likes to get half of our 47 pound body under our guest bed…with her bottom half sticking out! We think it’s cause she doesn’t want the light in her eyes! =)

We have two dogs–one is very mild and meek, and the other is, well, a crazy woman! When she stops running around long enough to conk out, she likes to do so with only her head under something (ie: the edge of the couch, with the bedskirt draped over her head, etc.) Its pretty comical.

We’re hoping to be approved to adopt an Italian Greyhound in the near future, so this would be so awesome!!
We’ve never owned a dog before, but my parents’ cat falls asleep in the window of my old bedroom with her belly against the screen so as you pull into the driveway all you see is this white fuzzy thing with hind legs pressed up against the screen. You can’t see her head, or even her front legs, which are usually stretched out in front.

Doggone it! We have two six month old Doberman puppies who are still trying to squeeze on the $20 bed I picked up at the Ikea in Atlanta. They barely fit and are often hanging off the sides but they somehow manage to get some good naps in. I’ve said that I’m going to start taking aerial photographs of them in their weird positions and framing them above their massive hot pink crate which we keep in my sewing room!

We used to have to put Freddy in his “house” when we left, and at night for fear of what he might get into. When he was finally trained well enough, he woulnd’t go near his house because he was scared we’d lock him up! Now he looooooves to sleep there, except when we accidentally leave it locked without him in it. I’m sure he’s thinking “DOGGONE IT!”

Our yellow lab is 12 yrs old and has been having problems jumping onto the couch lately (her regular snooze spot). Instead, we keep finding her curled up in our 2 year olds toddler bed! Our guess is that she likes it because it’s so low to the ground…or possibly because she likes to snuggle with all the stuffed animals. ;)
