A couple of weeks ago we asked our Facebook fans to share pictures of their pets (since we talk incessantly about Burger) and got an awesome response – over 100 photos and links of their four-legged friends (which you can browse right here under Fan Photos). So we figured a giveaway geared towards your pooches (and meowsers) was in order. Enter AllModernPet.com stage right…

One lucky pet parent will win their choice of an awesome easy-on-the-eyes bed so their furry family member can sleep in style (and your pup’s “bedroom” can be as stylish as your own).

Doggone It!
I think the strangest place my 10 month old german shepherd pup likes to sleep is on our living room rug with her head under the couch. It’s pretty funny to walk in the living room and see a body sticking out from under the couch.

“DOGGONE IT!” My dog Jasco will go to sleep on his own dog bed, but as soon as I get in bed and turn off the light he jumps up on the bed and snuggles up on a pillow. He thinks that I don’t notice his 75lb body next to me!

Lucie has fallen asleep in some strange places. She once fell way asleep under our (very crowded) bed. We were freaking out because we totally could not find her.

DOGGONE IT!!! Sol sleeps upside down with his tongue hanging out of his mouth. He’ll often prop part of his body up on anything nearby (a table leg, wall, a person). Funniest place he’s ever fallen asleep was in a baby pool outside.

penny’s an oddball sleeper doggone it! our 1 1/2 year old golden retriever is known for sleeping on her back, head on the pillow, right inbetween us in bed each and every night. but for naps she tries to manuever herself completely under the bed, tail sticking out only. oh yes, we’ve got the pictures to prove it alright. maybe if she had one of those lovely beds she wouldn’t take up so much room in ours!

My beautiful chocolate lab, Ferris, finds solace on the livingroom couch, much to my husband’s dismay… we have tried for 7 years to “coax” Ferris to enjoy numerous dog beds, including a rather swanky monogrammed number from L.L. Bean. No luck! He is king of the roost, and a king deserves the best-a linen slipcovered couch!

DOGGONE IT! When our chihuahua Remington was a puppy (about 2.5 lbs.) we let him sleep in our bed for the first time. You know that space when the sheets hang down off the end of the bed but are still tucked? That’s where we found him in the morning – hanging in his own hammock!

Sasha, our cat, likes to sleep under the quilt overhang at the side of the bed – which is directly on the floor. So there’s only a couple inches of quilt covering her body, but she thinks she’s good and hidden.

His favorite place to nap is on top of the fluffiest object he can find… I spot him dozing on pillows constantly…as if the pillow top bed or feather couch is not quite good enough for him? DODGONE IT! Our cat Griffey sleeps on top of the dog crate or in the bathrooom sink almost every night! He loves it there. Maybe it’s to get away from our other baby boy Weston a puggle-pug/beagle mix puppy. He likes to nap in the rocking chair….and he likes to chew on it too :)

Our dog George is a 95-pound boxer-rottweiler mix, and his favorite place to sleep is curled up in our mini dachshund’s small dog bed. He does have a large bed of his own, but prefers the small one. He has to circle around about 10 times until he can curl up tight enough to fit in it!

My yorkshire terrier, Katy, loves to fall asleep anywhere, literally. BUT, she absolutely loves to lay down in some of the most uncomfortable positions: on her back paws straight up, on her side with her limps facing one way and her head the opposite way, with her front paws stretched out front and her back legs stretched out back (looks like a little yorkie floor rug). Oddly enough, as much as she loves to sleep in my lap, the dog will twist her body with her bottom half laying one way and her top half laying the other while I sit with my legs crossed indian-style. Crazy pup!

We have 2 dogs & a cat..Unfortunately, my cat LOVES to fall asleep in the baskets that I keep my bras & panties in. Our chihuahua sleeps in the bed with us but thankfully, our Norweigan Elkhound actually uses the doggie pillow that she has! Now, if we can just work on the other 2!!

DOGGONE IT!! Our Chesapeake Bay retriever Phoebe likes to sleep under our baby grand piano, which always makes me nervous, since the legs come off to move it. I KNOW it’s stable, but……
Or else she will crawl on her doggie equivalent of hands and knees under my daughter’s bed, which is really too low for such activity. A dog with a need for a den!!

If I’m at the computer he likes to be under the desk. Otherwise, he always looks for a little “nook” to cozy up in. Then again, sometimes he wants to be right in the way and he’ll lay down, sprawled out right in the bedroom doorway so that we have to hop over him to get through. :)

Our Boston Terrier, Belle, LOVES to sleep. She previously slept in our bedroom, on my husband’s PJs! However, she can produce quite a snore. She now sleeps in the livingroom on the sofa.

DOGGONE IT! Sophie (our black lab) has a very specific place she likes to sleep……with me! Poor G has literally gotten kicked out of bed because she shoved him out of the way. Last week he took pics of her asleep, we were spooning, and her head was on my arm. Good thing it was just nap time, but actual bedtime for everyone!

DOGGONE IT! My silly puppy sleeps on whoever is nearby. It doesn’t matter who it is. He makes himself right at home on the nearest lap. It would be perfect to have a cute doggy bed to train him to use, especially when we have company.
