A couple of weeks ago we asked our Facebook fans to share pictures of their pets (since we talk incessantly about Burger) and got an awesome response – over 100 photos and links of their four-legged friends (which you can browse right here under Fan Photos). So we figured a giveaway geared towards your pooches (and meowsers) was in order. Enter AllModernPet.com stage right…

One lucky pet parent will win their choice of an awesome easy-on-the-eyes bed so their furry family member can sleep in style (and your pup’s “bedroom” can be as stylish as your own).

DOGGONE IT!
We have a 70 pound lab-greyhound mix who is the BIGGEST chicken in the world. She hides all day and night, and her preferred spot of choice is to hide (and then fall asleep) under my bedside table. Because it’s so tiny and she’s so big, her waking up usually involves the table getting carried away a few feet.

Well we got a boston terrier actually!! and he LOVES to sleep on our shaggy rug in our office. We also have a cat too and he LOVES to sleep all the way on the top of our kitchen cabinets lol he climbs ontop of the counter than jumps on the microwave and jumps up to the top of the cabinets and will be gone asleep for hours!

Glacier, our lab/border collie, is a surprisingly normal sleeper. However, when we’re in our living room, watching tv, she loves to lay on the floor, at our feet, rather than lay on her bed.

my dog likes to fall asleep on the end of the couch, looking out the french doors alllll day. he frequently falls asleep on his side, which makes his huge ear stand up at strange angles – it’s hilarious!

My dog, Harry, likes to sleep on the floor next to my bed…but the thing he does that cracks me up is that he sticks his head under the bed (the rest of his body won’t fit because he’s too big) like he’s in stealth mode. If you try to ask him to do anything, he ignores you because of course, YOU can’t see him!! ;) He blows his cover very quickly, though, when he gets a little excited and starts wagging his tail. It’s like his tail has got a mind of its own!

DOGGONE IT! Both of our dogs at one time or another have fallen asleep under the recliner’s upright footrest. Whoever is is the chair is effectively trapped until the dog wakes up. Another favorite spot is under the vanity in the bathroom. We have now put a dog bed there to make it more comfortable.

Gypsy loves to sleep under our bed. She also has a routine of jumping in “daddy’s” spot on the bed after he takes her out in the morning. My favorite place to find her is in a pile of clothing!

Doggone it! My boyfriend’s dog, Sadie, loves to sleep on top of my bed while we’re at work during the day. I kept finding dog hair on top of my comforter, but I couldn’t figure out how she got up there. One day, I burst upon the door to find Sadie cuddling in my comforter; upon seeing me, she leapt from the bed and tucked her tail underneath her – she knew she had been caught :)

Got two babies..Willis (wire haired fox terrier) and Squibby (seal lynx point birman)! Willis, our dog likes to sleep on a chair in the office next to a window and put his head on the windowsill to watch for people walking by…Squibby, our cat..likes to sleep on the stairs so when people walk up or down he can bat at your feet!

Lola, my long-haired chihuahua, loves to be where I am – so her nap place of choice is right next to me on the couch with her little head resting in my ankle – or up on the cushions with her head resting on my shoulder! :) Our bigger dog – Showbiz loves to find any available pillow or blanket (other than her own of course!) and curl up on whatever part of it is touching the floor! Her goal is comfort! Though if the sun is streaming in through the window – you’ll find them both napping there in the sunlight!

DOGGONE IT! Nikki, our lab mix likes to sleep with her head under our bed…just her head- like an ostrich. Sydney, our shepherd mix, likes to try to sleep like a bunny; with her head tucked into your armpit. She’s 45lbs now but still thinks she’s her 12lb puppy size, it’s quite funny to see her try to stuff her whole body onto someone’s lap!

Tank (English Bulldog) & Pearl (French Bulldog) most enjoy falling asleep next to us or while sizzling away in the sunshine in the backyard.
The funniest place Tank has fallen asleep is on the floor of the passenger side of the car with his nose pressed up to the floor vent. Pearl has fallen asleep with her head underneath one of our arm chairs – I guess she wanted some darkness.

DOGGONE IT! Samson & Bailey don’t have any odd sleeping locations but they do feel very entitled to both our master bed and guest bed. I just can’t seem to break this habit. I do have to say they look adorable curled up on our paisley duvets. :)

DOGGONE IT! My dog has 2 favorite ways to fall asleep. One is on a pile of anything that belongs to a human – dirty clothes, clean clothes, blankets, shoes, purses, etc. The other is on her back with one of her paws sticking straight up in the air. Combine the two and she’s in doggy heaven!

DOGGONE IT! Our dog Max loves to sleep next to any wall with his back on the ground and his paws touching the wall. Our dog Buddy will sleep anywhere BUT the bare floor, even if it’s just a rag that we use to wipe up the floor. He just curls up to fit on it (he’s a dachshund).

DOGGONE IT! Biggie Smalls, who looks almost exactly like Burger, but a little lighter, has currently taken to sleeping in, yes in, a floor pillow. It was a DIY project of mine and I’ve never completely sewed up the end I stuffed the stuffing in. Biggie found the hole, and initially just pulled the fluff outwhen we were gone. As of last week, he’s started sleeping inside where the stuffing is. Crazy dog.

Samantha, our lab mix, likes to sleep on top of the AC vent behind the couch. It’s only about 5 inches wide, but she makes it work.
Amos, our Pom, likes to sleep right under my side of the bed, curled up next to our supply of wrapping paper. I finally put his bed under there with him.

Doggone it! We have 2 wonderful cats in addition to our lab golden mix. In our previous home, pre-dog days, our cats used to sleep in the double sinks in our bathroom. Nothing quite like a good cat nap in the sink!
