A couple of weeks ago we asked our Facebook fans to share pictures of their pets (since we talk incessantly about Burger) and got an awesome response – over 100 photos and links of their four-legged friends (which you can browse right here under Fan Photos). So we figured a giveaway geared towards your pooches (and meowsers) was in order. Enter AllModernPet.com stage right…

One lucky pet parent will win their choice of an awesome easy-on-the-eyes bed so their furry family member can sleep in style (and your pup’s “bedroom” can be as stylish as your own).

DOGGONE IT….or rather…BUNNY GONE IT!
Cat or Dog? How about bunnies? Our bunners will give us the evil eye that says- “you are about to spend the next two hours screaming and cursing at us- but we won’t care!” then hop over to our entertainment center (you know- the one we chose because there is no way our bunnies could crawl UNDER the darn thing) and crawl under the darn thing. Of course, they flop down (as best as you could flop in a 6 inch space) and stare at us, with that same evil stare.

Our Schnoodle dives under the covers and stays until removed to the foot of the bed.

DOGGONE IT! Our dog falls asleep in small places (i.e. under the bed, between the couch and end table, etc.). He’s 75 lbs. :)

We have an 82 pound chocolate lab named Riley. When Riley is feeling a little needy, he thinks he is a lap dog. He will climb up on the couch or chair and will make room for himself. Either on you or squished into a one foot space next to you. It is hard to resist because of how cute it is.

DOGGONE IT! Our little ‘pooch’ is a bunny who thinks he’s a dog. His name is Sassafrass and is the most precious little thing imaginable. He loves to sleep everywhere but would LOVE a posh bed for his little head.

Our boxer thinks he is a 90 pound lap dog, so if he is not on our laps he tries to curl up touching us with some part of his body. Our mutt Porsche thinks she is a cat and curls up on the upper couch cushions or on the stairs.

DOGGONE IT! Our dog Dempsey likes to sleep under the bed (that is also where he hides when he knows it is bath time or time to trim his nails) and when we are in the bed he tries to jump up and dive under the covers as quick as he can and snuggle under there until he gets to hot and has to hop of the bed and take all of our covers with him. Keep in mind he is 85 pounds! He loves to be under blankets but doesn’t realize that he will get too hot!

Our cat, Max, likes to sleep in my underwear drawer, so all my underwear and socks are covered with cat hairs. Our dog, Kona, likes to sleep with us. Luckily she sticks to the foot of the bed!

Doggone it! My 5lb long hair chihuahua Bella will sleep ontop of the dirty clothes during thunderstorms. For her naps she sleeps behind the throw pillows on the sofa, where you can’t even see her big ol ears. Thank goodness I figured that one out, since one time I thought she had ran out of the house.

Last Thursday, we just had to put down our family golden retriever, Sadie, whom my family has had since I was a teenager. She used to sleep in the craziest of places including under the stairs, behind the kitchen table, in a corner in the dining room and in my parents’ bed with her head on my mom’s pillow. We are devastated and miss her like crazy, but will be getting a golden puppy in a few weeks to ease our sorrows!

Our 7 year old beagle/hound mix loves to sleep just about anywhere but his recent favorite is under the kitchen table with one side against a table leg and the other limbs against chair legs. We think he likes to be enclosed.

we have 3 dogs, 2 great danes and one german shepherd mix. Jesse our German Shephard will slide his 50 odd pound body under our bed, but our younger dane JuneBug who really loves being with us will sleep standing however will rest her what seems like a 50 pound head of us, whilst we watch television.

Both our dogs Max the black pug, aka Blackaroni Jones and our new puppy, Chico the pug terrier mix aka Tweak-o the hellhound are “crotch sleepers”. They both insist on sleeping between the legs of whoever is laying on the couch or in the bed, and will paw at your legs until you move over enough for them to scooch in and lay down.

DOGGONE IT! Pookie, our Bichon Frise, likes to sleep on her “perch”, as we call it. Her perch is actually on top of the couch cushion on which we have a decor-coordinated dog throw (totally did not expect to find this the pet department!) for her to lay on. She then definitely has a kooky way she sleeps, with her head hanging down from the side of the cushion, sometimes between the cushions (see links below or by clicking on my name).
