It’s no secret that we loves us some HomeGoods. So how psyched are we to give one of you a $500 gift card this week? Answer: very psyched. Color me! I am redoing my bedroom in a very serene color of a muted blue green…I matched it to one of the colors in the rabids at Niagara Falls. It’s a quiet, peaceful color.

COLOR ME…My husband just bought 25 gallons of paint today! We are getting the entire inside and outside of the house painted. We couldn’t decide on color so we just picked up the paint…why? COLOR ME – ORANGE! We just moved into our house after two years of reconstruction and I am loving the orange color my boyfriend chose for the living room. At first I thought it would be very overpowering but in the end I love it! This weekend I bought turquoise, blue, cream and brown paisley curtains and can’t wait to add my other accents.

I’ve been digging yellow and it’s not my color at all! I can’t say I’ve played with it at home just yet but I’ve got a few ideas up my sleeve to start incorporating it in with my decor.

Teal has been my go to color since moving into my house. Everything I looked at before I moved (and would have pinned if I had known about Pinterest at that time) has been that color, so I figured my subconscious was trying to tell me something. My color scheme includes lots of brown, so that pop of teal really brightens it up and makes it happy.

I’ve been adding a lot more orange than I ever thought I’d be attracted to but I just can’t get enough of a nice dark melon-orange paired with just the right shade of watery blue. Love it!
