Fab Freebie: Colorful Goods

Since we maxed out on entries less than 24 hours into the giveaway, we thought we’d go ahead and crown our winner. Random.org has selected… Jen W. (who’s long had a love affair with the color grey, but has lately been drawn to cheery yellows lately). Congrats!

It’s no secret that we loves us some HomeGoods. So how psyched are we to give one of you a $500 gift card this week? Answer: very psyched. And if you’re stumped on how to spend that money, HomeGoods has a new series of “Design Happy” videos to help inspire and guide you. Like the one below that offers up some simple tricks for adding color to a room through pillows & accessories (which just happen to be two of our favorite things to hunt for at HomeGoods):

    COLOR ME!! I used the same color in my living room as you used in your guest room. I LOVE it! I still intend on sending you pics, if I can ever get finished. I still need to make curtains and pillows. And paint my entry table and hang art over it. Then it will be done…can’t wait.

    Color Me!!!!

    Purple, purple, and more purple! I’m getting ready to paint my dressing room purple and it’s the only color I can see lately. Everywhere I look I see purple.

    COLOR ME! I’m always happy by my favorite color of green which is being painted onto our walls right now. It makes such a difference to our space and my mood. :)

    COLOR ME! I am loving our yellow kitchen. It’s bright and sunny and especially with the shorter days, it’s great to have something so happy and sunshiney inside!

    COLOR ME…. YELLOW!!! I add yellow into our house whenever possible. It’s just so cheerful and makes me smile every time I see it. I’d totally paint our front door yellow too if we didn’t live in a rental :-)

    COLOR ME!

    My living room is about to get a fresh coat of Ben’s Hancock Green or Sweet Caroline (still debating) and the dining room is going to be painted a deep turquoise blue. Somewhat out of my comfort zone but I’m going with it. :)
