It’s no secret that we loves us some HomeGoods. So how psyched are we to give one of you a $500 gift card this week? Answer: very psyched. And if you’re stumped on how to spend that money, HomeGoods has a new series of “Design Happy” videos to help inspire and guide you. Like the one below that offers up some simple tricks for adding color to a room through pillows & accessories (which just happen to be two of our favorite things to hunt for at HomeGoods):

COLOR ME! Turquoise! I’m suddenly drawn to turquoise as if I never knew it existed before. In the new place, I can barely wait to tear down wallpaper, paint a moroccan inspired stencil in a dark and light gray, incorporated with my turquoise accents in my design office. Can’t. Wait. Also planning on using some of your tips to paint my existing chandelier in there turquoise and then hang a bright white drum shade over it. This way all you see hanging below the shade are these curvy bottoms of the chandelier arms, in turquoise! Can you tell I’m into this color yet? :-)
