Fab Freebie: Colorful Goods

Since we maxed out on entries less than 24 hours into the giveaway, we thought we’d go ahead and crown our winner. Random.org has selected… Jen W. (who’s long had a love affair with the color grey, but has lately been drawn to cheery yellows lately). Congrats!

It’s no secret that we loves us some HomeGoods. So how psyched are we to give one of you a $500 gift card this week? Answer: very psyched. And if you’re stumped on how to spend that money, HomeGoods has a new series of “Design Happy” videos to help inspire and guide you. Like the one below that offers up some simple tricks for adding color to a room through pillows & accessories (which just happen to be two of our favorite things to hunt for at HomeGoods):

    COLOR ME.

    For the beach house I am adding more yellow in the decorations, while at home it is more of a sage green type. I love it and I need more decorations/ pillows to bring the beach house from the 1970’s into this century

    After many years of embracing bold wall colors, I’m loving beige, white and grey and simplicity. It’s so calming. But I still love to add colorful pillows and artwork.

    COLOR ME!

    Bright sunshine yellow :) I seem to see this color everywhere, and have picked up accents for all of my rooms now – most recently a beautiful new yellow canary throw for my bed :)

    I’m loving my new carpet multi-colored carpet that’s being installed RIGHT NOW!! And my new mocha colored tile that was installed last week!!!!!

    Color Me!! Love all colors!! Give me a room and I’ll give a color. My room = Turquoise, Blues; Kids = Navy and Orange, or Pink and Purple, Living Rooms = Greens, Browns, White… I can keep going!! :)

    COLOR ME!!

    I’ve been accenting with White lately, kind of a boring color but really brightens my dark duplex. Looking forward to the day we can actually move in a house of our own and take on the full adventure of decorating and remodeling.

    COLOR ME! I’m really liking shades of gray right now. It seems everything in our house is brown so I’m curious to try out gray in a few smaller rooms.
