I love the smells of the seasons…summer rain, fresh-cut grass, the woodstoves burning in crisp, cool air. If you can have the windows in your house open at anytime during spring, summer and fall, it’s amazing how the mood and feel of the seasons will drift in and change the feeling of your home.

One of my favorite smells is Country Apple lotion from Bath & Body Works. I remember when I was in high school we would take trips every year to Chicago to see a play with my school choir. At the time we didn’t have a bath and body works. I remember saving my money up so I could buy a bunch of the lotion and other goodies at the WaterTower mall in Chicago. Whenever I smell this scent it reminds me of those happy trips that we would take.

As to fragrance, I like to keep it simple. Don’t Channel Me any Chanel (BONUS!) I LOVE a Bath and Body Works lotion fragrance, “Happiness” that is now discontinued — awk! I have to hit e-bay to keep getting it, but it’s bright and fresh and lovely and so I do.
