I am proudly owned by two mini dachshunds, Noodles and Odin. I’m jealous of the way they love unconditionally! Even when they’re super naughty and get scolded, 2 seconds later they’re on their backs wanting a tummy scratch and/or jumping up to cover my face in kisses – no matter how mad I was at them.

BOW WOW! I started thinking about what I’m jealous of, and I don’t think I am jealous of dogs. I like having a job, and wearing clothing, and having control over what I eat, etc. I guess I could live without the daily irritation at other people on the subway, but that could also be solved by moving somewhere without a subway.
