BOW WOW! Well, I have a cat, but I envy his life of leisure. And I love (in a ha-ha way) that he sleeps on my chest in the early morning hours which I’m convinced is his foolproof method of checking to see if I’m still alive and hence whether he will be fed when I wake up. It appears Burger lives a complementary lifestyle to my Theodore.

I love our boston terrier corgi mix Rufus so much, I think I am most jealous of how he gets away with such a loud ‘huff’ when he is bored or displeased. Somehow if I was always ‘huffing and puffing’ my displeasure I don’t think the hubs would appreciated.

My doxie is about the most spoiled thing ever. Although I’m sure he thinks he has a lot of responsibility (guarding the house from rogue squirrels is hard work), his adorable face and piercing bark mean that he gets belly rubs and attention whenever he wants them. Sounds good to me.

I would have to say I’m most jealous of the fact that my dog Alligator (a chihuahua too) has not a care in the world, summers on Cape Cod (I may be there with her but she spends the whole time being carried around by her Nana who is hand feeding her grilled cheese), sleeps all day long and only gets up to nibble on her gourmet food or to change her nap location to the couch so she can peer out the window with one eye open at all the activity on the street. Basically Alligator lives a life I can only dream of.
