I believe it was the renowned Dave Coulier who once immortalized the words “cut it out” on Full House… but I don’t quite think Uncle Joey had a clue what potential those words could hold when it came to the Silhouette CAMEO digital cutter. You guys may have seen Silhouette cutters mentioned around the blogosphere before (our friends Jessica at How About Orange and Nicole at Making It Lovely did some cool projects with theirs). Now Silhouette has released a larger and quieter model called the CAMEO. Basically any design that you can create on your computer can be printed and intricately cut out on all sorts of papers. We haven’t tried it out ourselves, but there are tons of idea starters on the Silhouette Pinterest boards.

Cameo me! I so want to be friends with Jennifer Garner! Oh, and funny cameo story – I went to a Margaret Cho show in Chicago with some friends a few years ago and we stopped at the merch booth afterwards to grab a shirt. The crowd waiting for merch was huge and all bunched together so I decided to scurry in while my friends stayed behind me and yelled what they wanted. Once I got to the booth, I turned back to my friends to double check sizes and realized the person next to me seemed REALLY familiar. I blinked a few times and realized it was because he was FAMOUS! I’d seen him in a bunch of movies! And he’s STANDING RIGHT NEXT TO ME! So I turned to him and said “OH MY GOD! IT’S YOU!!!!!” while pointing at him. His wife stifled a giggle and he said “So it is.” and they walked away. Ah, Harold Ramis… I promise to be cooler next time. PROMISE.

CAMEO ME, please!!! I just had a run in with Joanne Kelly from the show Warehouse 13. Saw her twice in one day in New Orleans. The second time we talked for 10 minutes. Totally down to earth. Later saw her again (not stalking her, I swear!!). She was staying on the same floor in our hotel. I’m not likely to experience anything like that again.
