Fab Freebie: Cameo Appearance

I believe it was the renowned Dave Coulier who once immortalized the words “cut it out” on Full House… but I don’t quite think Uncle Joey had a clue what potential those words could hold when it came to the Silhouette CAMEO digital cutter. You guys may have seen Silhouette cutters mentioned around the blogosphere before (our friends Jessica at How About Orange and Nicole at Making It Lovely did some cool projects with theirs). Now Silhouette has released a larger and quieter model called the CAMEO. Basically any design that you can create on your computer can be printed and intricately cut out on all sorts of papers. We haven’t tried it out ourselves, but there are tons of idea starters on the Silhouette Pinterest boards.

    I would love to meet the cast of Happy Endings. It is set in Chicago but shot in LA and I would love to run into them if they came to Chicago to shoot some scenes. I love that show!

    CAMEO ME – I would like to have a chat session with the illustrious Russell Brand. I almost met him a couple years ago at a show in Hollywood, but he had a headache and had to leave early. I did get to see Morrissey leaving that same show however! A two-fer of two of my favorite celebrities. :)

    CAMEO ME !! My fav cameo actually happened: I was listening to Ben Folds’ (then) new album “Way to Normal” in a coffee shop while working on my dissertation. I was rocking out a little to “Free Coffee” when in walked Ben Folds himself and ordered some coffee. (He lives in Nashville where I went to grad school.) I turned bright red even though there’s no way he could have known what was on my mp3 player. What are the chances??
