The day will feature freebies, special discounts, seminars, activities, and even gift card giveaways. Speaking of which… they’re giving one lucky reader three $100 gift cards right here this week (one for the winner and two for his or her friends) – which I’m pretty sure would solidify your status as BFFs for life.

I can’t say that I have one best friend, but I have a couple friends I’ve known since elementary school and we then were roommates in college- we call eachother “mom”, which people probably think is really strange! It all started when we would say motherly things to eachother in college- like “It’s cold out, you better grab a coat!” =)

We were in art class together where we would talk about “very important artist decisions” on really bad paintings we were making at the time. We both actually went on to be artists and art teachers despite our bad high school paintings!
