The day will feature freebies, special discounts, seminars, activities, and even gift card giveaways. Speaking of which… they’re giving one lucky reader three $100 gift cards right here this week (one for the winner and two for his or her friends) – which I’m pretty sure would solidify your status as BFFs for life.

My bestie and I met during high school/middle school. She was in 8th grade, I in 11th, and she was helping with the varsity softball team. We became buddies but I soon began falling for her older brother. She helped me sneak around with him to avoid my friend, who previously dated him but had been broken up for over a year and had a new boyfriend. Anyways, she helped us keep our relationship secret until we could not help it anymore. She was my bestie during it all and still is to this day, 7 years later. I credit her for the fact that her brother is now my wonderful husband. I am her “sugar” and her my “flour” and we have friendship bracelets we wear each day (actually little girl disney charm bracelets, but close enough!). She is now not only my best friend but also my sister! :)

My BFF actually used to date my brother. Lets just say her and I are a better match! She lives in Virginia and I am in Atlanta. Boo!
