My bestie and I met when we were 14 (16/17 years ago! Yikes!) and she decided to inform me that she didn’t like one of my (former) friends. LOL We were inseparable from pretty much that day on. My favorite “secret handshake” we have is the code word we have for, “I can’t talk about it right now, there’s a parental unit in hearing distance.” We’d work the code word guacamole into the conversation somehow! My husband knows this (after I used it on him several times), so it’s in our repertoire of secret code words as well.
