The day will feature freebies, special discounts, seminars, activities, and even gift card giveaways. Speaking of which… they’re giving one lucky reader three $100 gift cards right here this week (one for the winner and two for his or her friends) – which I’m pretty sure would solidify your status as BFFs for life.

(We were going college in different states & he was playing college football that fall so we couldn’t meet yet)They had me write the first letter… GULP. Crazy, but he wrote back. We kept up letters until we finally met in person at Thanksgiving! Engaged at Christmas, Married 6 months later… 1 week after college graduation!

My best friend, Suzanne, and I are like sisters- we have the same (corny sense of humor), we can finish each other’s sentences, and we joke that we were raised by the same parents (we’re both Southern and our moms are teachers, are dads are engineers).

My best friend is the wife of my husband’s best friend. They met in the Air Force and when I met the other couple it was an instant friendship. Now we are all best friends and we plan to move next door to each other when they get out of the military in a few years.
