I’m fortunate to have two best friends that I will love til the day we all die. The first I met the first day of freshman year at VT, and though we’ve lived multiple states apart for 26 of our 28 year friendship (yep, she transferred to UF for warmer weather mid-sophomore year)our friendship has grown and thrived. Maybe it’s because we never DID live in the same state together after that first year!
My other BFF found me through mutual friends, and after giving godparent status to each other and living next door to each other for 8 years (planned that BTW)our lives are not complete without each other. So even though I am now out of state for her too, we keep it together by visits and phone chats.
