I attended her home birth and she threw my son’s 5th birthday party (which rocked!) because I was weary with a newborn. We take turns hosting weekend-long slumber parties for our kids, which gives the other set of parents an entire weekend to themselves. She has seen every skeleton in my closet and is still one of my biggest cheerleaders. How great is that?! I am packing up my house now to move right around the corner from her at the beginning of April. After spending one evening together, we realized our differences made our friendship awesome. She is Little House on the Prairie while I am more Sex and the City.
