Fab Freebie: Behr With Me

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries***

This week’s freebie’s gonna be a colorful one. 3,700 colors to be exact, because it comes from the fine people at Behr paint. And we’ll have not one, not two, but three winners who will each get a free gallon of Behr paint along with a complimentary Behr paint fan deck. How’s that for kick starting a few of your spring makeover projects?

We all know that the hardest part of transforming a room with paint is painstakingly picking the perfect color. But Behr has gone and made it easier thanks to their new Paint Your Place tool. This free, online resource lets you virtually paint your very own rooms with a few clicks of the mouse (it’s a great way to waste an entire afternoon). For instance, we uploaded a picture of our third bedroom to see if a bright color might work when it eventually (key word) becomes a nursery (in a looong time, no baby rumors please). What do you think of Thermal Spring? Sherry thinks it makes the small room look like a little jewel box.

We were really impressed by how the program smoothly integrated the existing shadows and sun spots in the photo that we uploaded, giving the room a pretty realistic look (all without having to pick up a paint brush). Plus, with the color selector tool it was really easy to adjust the color, no matter if we decided it needed to be lighter, darker or even more green.

So if you wanna win one of these free gallons of paint, just leave a comment on this post with the words “BEHR WITH ME” by Wednesday, April 1st at 8pm EST. While you’re at it, we’d love to know if there’s a room in your home that you’ve been planning to repaint (and what color you might be considering). This contest is open to residents of the US and Canada and as usual only one entry per e-mail address is permitted. Good luck…

    BEHR WITH ME

There is really only one “room” in our home that needs painted soon and that is our four car garage. My husband is working hard to make it over and I think some fun color in there would be great! Thank you!

    “BEHR WITH ME”
I have a pink room that we have (not so successfully) covered in punk bands or beverage posters (Monster, PBR and Mt Dew) that we have collected over the years and dangled blue orbed lights around the top to distract the distinct pink color… I would LOVE to paint this room a sage color and move our party posters to the basement making it a more “company friendly” guest room :)

    Behr With Me!

Behr is the only brand of paint we use, and we’ve recently been using a lot of it!! Entire exterior of the house, kitchen cabinets, kitchen walls… still have several more rooms to go and I am OVERJOYED to hear about their new tool. You better believe I’ll be clicking on ASAP!

“Behr with me!! I am currently not painting any rooms but I will be painting the entire outside of my home with Behr Dark Granite paint. I’ve already purchased it in the convenient 5 gallon containers. All the trim in and outside my home is Behr Ultra white. I love how Behr paint covers and the price is very reasonable.

BEHR WITH ME! I exclusively use Behr paints, they are fantastic! The next room we will be painting is our kitchen, and I’m torn between a soothing blue which looks so pretty in modern white kitchens, and a deeper tan to offset our white cabinets and black granite….we shall see.

BEHR WITH ME- Almost all of the rooms in our house need painting. Since we bought the house 3 years ago only one of the rooms has been painted and we are finally figuring out what colors we want in each room.
We do have plans to paint one of our bathrooms a pale grayish-green. Thanks for letting me know about this Behr tool. I will most definitely be using it soon.

BEHR WITH ME but in a few short days I will begin painting our ENTIRE 1600 sf house that my husband and I just bought. It is our first house and ever since I left home for college, I’ve been moving from apartment to apartment EAGERLY awaiting for my first house so I could PAINT my walls and live in color! The one apartment that I was able to paint, I painted my bedroom with Behr paint using one coat and it looked great, the only downside was that I only lived there 3 months…looking forward to some color in my life!
