Fab Freebie: Be Jeweled

***This giveaway has reached is now closed – see who won below!***

Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! And an especially happy one to our randomly selected, lucky winner who goes by the name of… Oona (who will likely celebrate tonight with dinner at “a lovely vegan restaurant”). Congrats Oona!

We love celebrating Valentine’s Day with you guys by giving away some free jewelry, and this year Sherry’s especially stoked because the prize is coming from none other than Kendra Scott – one of her favorite places to request that I buy her earrings for various occasions (like the past two Christmases). Kendra Scott has definitely earned me a few husband points, so this (are you ready for it?) $500 gift card means that someone else out there can score major points from the one they love – or one lucky winner can grab her own jewels for herself. And probably have money leftover to share the wealth with a few friends or relatives. Oh and if you fancy yourself a Kendra Scott in the making, you can even use their Color Bar to customize several of their pieces. So yeah, Happy Valentine’s Day everyone!

Kendra Scott Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $500 gift card toward Kendra Scott
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “JEWEL ME!” and tell us…
  • BONUS QUESTION: …how you plan to celebrate (or not celebrate) Valentine’s Day this year. Is there a special date night in your future? Are you sending your kids off with backpacks filled with cards for classmates? Or are you just gonna treat it like any other Thursday?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, February 13th at 8pm EST or at 10,000 entries (whichever comes first)
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: One
  • PRIZE SHIPS: This giveaway ships worldwide. Woot!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winner will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…
  • ***COMMENT ISSUES? If you’re trying to enter but keep getting a “duplicate comment” warning, click here to see how to solve it!

Note: We aren’t paid or perked for hosting these giveaways, we just do ‘em to thank you awesome folks for stopping in. See our Giveaway FAQ page for more info. Pics courtesy of Kendra Scott.

Been busting my butt to get some cute, hand-crafted valentines finished for Thursday. Will also be making heart shaped pie pops for school snack for the class. Will have to find something nice to do for my husband so he doesn’t feel left out!

This is our first year for valentine’s in the preschooler’s backpack. All holidays are more fun now that we have kids, but the hubs and I are pretty no fuss when it comes to gifts for each other.

This Valentine’s Day is also our 9-year anniversary… so I will be going to work out with the kiddos in tow while hubby goes to school… Yeah, super romantic, right??? :-\ But I figure since the hubby has class I might as well stick to my New Year’s goal of losing the baby weight… especially since said baby is nearly 1! (I do think we are going to do a belated Valentine’s/Anniversary lunch (’cause we’re old like that – and like to spend the evenings at home with the kiddos) on the weekend! YAY!

My son is in J.K and he will be taking a collection of Hot Wheels & Looney Tune Valentine cards for his classmates. That evening is also Parent-Teacher interviews at his school, so no celebrating for mom & dad that night…we’ll do our “date” the following evening, steak is on the agenda I believe…

    Best, Lisa

My girlfriends and I are having a chocolate fountain party. Everybody brings something for dipping. We do this every year with or without a special someone. I also mailed XOXO tick tac toe with kisses from teal and lime (blog) to my friend’s kids. I am sure they are going to LOVE it!!! Happy Valentine’s Day.

(Kendra Scott earrings were one of my first and favorite Mother’s Day gifts from my husband:)

After a rough year of health issues, we are just so excited to have two happy, healthy kids that we are going all out for Valentine’s Day. Our 4 year old has helped us decorate pretty much every inch of the house in something pink and the kids are going to have little surprises all day.

It really is just any other Thursday, but it is made special by being able to spend it with my super awesome husband and equally amazing 1-year-old son. He’s too young to know what Valentine’s Day is, but his granny is supposedly sending him the most enormous stuffed dog she could find – so he’ll be feeling the love. ;)

Maybe some fun food for the kiddos. I bought a bag of heart shaped pasta from TJ Maxx (who knew they had stuff like that?)so we will have pasta and sauce and maybe a little chocolate for my two littles who have HUGE love of all things sweet (they got that from their mama). That’s it – and the hubs and I will exchange cards. Wild and crazy around here, I tell ya :).
