Well, this is very sad. This Valentine’s Day will be another day in my divorce process. So, I won’t be celebrating.
I did, however, make sure to make some fun valentines for my 5th grader to take to school. I took lollipops and pushed the sticks through some mustaches that I cut out of craft foam. So when the kids eat the lollipops, it will look like they have funny mustaches in a range of styles–handlebar, fu manchu, and the zappa!
That made me smile, and I needed it. My son was impressed with my craftiness.
