On the “official” Valentine’s Day, I will be spending the evening with two precious little men of the ages 4 and 2. My close family friends are in dire need of a night out on the town, so I offered to watch the kiddos for the night.
As for the “unofficial” Valentine’s Day weekend, I will be flying to TX to spend it with my special man. He is in flight school down in Corpus Christi and has been gone for about a year. One more to go!

Sending my oldest with treats for school and dance class. Have some pink (strawberry) milk, heart shaped toast/pancakes (whatever the girls feel like that morning) and just spend the day (ok evening wish is was all day) with my three loves (hubby and two daughters) and go out to dinner. Everyone will probably be sugared out by the end of the day so we may end up all snuggled up on the couch..which is just fine with me.

SO this year my husband is away on a course so I will be spending Valentines with the children instead! I have bought some Love Hearts sweets for them so we can give the ones we want to each other whilst snuggling under the duvet watching a film together. After being married for 15 years, Valentines is only one day of the year, we try to think of each other through out the year, so it is not so disappointing that we are apart on Valentines itself. There will be plenty more of them when we are together anyway!
