Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! And an especially happy one to our randomly selected, lucky winner who goes by the name of… Oona (who will likely celebrate tonight with dinner at “a lovely vegan restaurant”). Congrats Oona!

Kendra Scott has definitely earned me a few husband points, so this (are you ready for it?) $500 gift card means that someone else out there can score major points from the one they love – or one lucky winner can grab her own jewels for herself. And probably have money leftover to share the wealth with a few friends or relatives. This is our first married Valentines day together! We plan to do something low key on the actual day ( possibly meet up with friends and share the love) and then head out the weekend after for some dinner. We tend to like to go back to the town where we had our first date! :)

We celebrated last weekend by going out for low-country boil. We’re both grad students, and the night of the 14th will be full of class for me and work for him. My parents are coming for the weekend, so the rest of the evening will likely be spent cleaning up the apartment. Ah, love.
