Happy Valentine’s Day everyone! And an especially happy one to our randomly selected, lucky winner who goes by the name of… Oona (who will likely celebrate tonight with dinner at “a lovely vegan restaurant”). Congrats Oona!

JEWEL ME! My husband and I are planning a group dinner with a “Perfect Pairs” theme. It’s potluck style and all the foods need to be a pair like cheese and crackers, spaghetti and meatballs, milk and cookies etc.

My hubby and I won’t be together this Valentine’s Day. He is a war veteran and I am as well. He went on ahead to San Antonio to secure a job for our family while I wait here at Fort Carson to finish out my enlistment. We missed our first wedding anniversary as well as Valentine’s Day. Money is tight because we’re trying to make the best future for our young family of four. So if we won this, it would definitely shine some light into the life of a young military couple.
