Last winter we had a blast at the Richmond Craft Mafia’s Handmade Holiday fair (and later gave away some of our favorite finds). And when we caught wind of their Spring Bada-Bing event happening this Sunday we were all sorts of excited. So we worked with them to put together another craft-tastic, wholly-handmade, reeking-of-Richmond prize pack featuring some of the Craft Mafia’s most active members – and it totals over $350 in value! I love everything about Spring, but the GREEN. Spring green is my all-time favorite color. It gives me hope for beautiful days ahead. Rebirth of all those trees in VA…it just makes me HAPPY! I have also been able to spend some wonderful days with my three littles outside this week. Some of my favorite days ever, I think!

Since my husband and I are expecting our first baby in May I have been in high nesting mode getting the house and nursery ready! But what I have also been enjoying is the little family of blue birds in the birdhouse outside my back porch. Every time the mama bird brings a tasty morsel to the babies they chirp with excitement! It is adorable and reminds me how exciting it’s going to be to have my new spring baby in our nest!

I live in the Portland area so I am not sure what spring is yet. While the rest of the country is getting beautiful weather the northwest has just been wet wet wet. My favorite part of Spring so far has been the 10 days of spring break I had with my 5-year-old Miles. Having him, his 3-year-old brother, and 8-month-old sister all with me all those days gave me a preview of the summer fun ahead and also made me count my blessings that I have been able to stay home with them up until now:)
