Fab Freebie: A Simplified New Year

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries – scroll down for special discount and to see who won!***

If the words “simplify,” “organize,” “declutter” or “make more time for [blank]” will be showing up on your resolution list this year, boy do we have the giveaway for you. Simplify 101 provides all sorts of fun interactive tips and online workshops to help you achieve those goals, and this week a trio of you will win TWO free workshops.

Simpify 101 Giveaway

Our three winners can choose from any of the following workshops being held early next year: “Quick + Simple Clutter Control,” “How To Achieve Your Goals And Create A Life You Love,” “Organizing 101” and “It’s About Time: How To Have More Fun and Get More Done.” Oh and all of you can get a taste of Simplify 101’s helpful advice by downloading their free “How To Create A Command Central Binder” guide. We’ve also got a special discount ready to announce on Thursday, so check back for that in a few days. But enough chatter, here’s how to enter:

  • PRIZE: Your choice of any two Simplify 101 workshops being held in January or February.
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “SIMPLIFY ME!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … tell us how you’re looking to simplify, organize, declutter, or streamline your life in 2011. We’d love some great ideas for our own list of 2011 resolutions.
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, December 29th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Three!
  • PRIZE SHIPS: Worldwide!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winner. Good luck…

******************************

Before we announce our trio of winner, know that Simplify 101 is offering 15% off enrollment through January 3rd, 2011 with code SAVE15YHL at checkout. (Note: the “It’s About Time” workshop is currently offered at 20% Early Bird savings, so this 15% off can’t be combined with it)

On to our winners. The lucky three entrants that random.org chose are… Sarah Thimmes (who’s looking to organize her homeschool supplies and make more time for poetry writing), Kelsey R (who wants to really use her planner all year)and Tiffany (who just gave birth to baby girl on Christmas Eve. Wow!). Congrats!

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just take them on to reward our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Simplify 101.

SIMPLIFY ME! My husband and I are recently married (October 9th) and looking to consolidate, organize, and de-clutter in “our” (no longer “my”) home. We are trying to re-do closet spaces, desk spaces, shelving, etc! We would love the opportunity to work on this and have gotten SO much inspiration from you, our fellow Virginians (we’re an hour away in Newport News- let’s do lunch!)

My wife and I are working on de-cluttering our house since we got married this fall and I would love an office space to work on my school work (completing my Master’s in Richmond, VA this very year). It would be awesome to be able to attend a workshop and get some tips on how to get rid of some (of her) stuff and make her house our home.

Geeze, what DOESN’T need to be simplified right now? Yikes. This past year I worked on a simple system for work and greatly upped my productivity. I’d love to do the same for my actual life! Plus, I’m a packrat and need some more help making our apartment feel more like a home! Right now, it’s just too much clutter!

    Simplify me!

My husband is quite irritated by my highly idiosyncratic method of “filing” things, and even moreso by my tendency to panic when guests are coming over and shove everything into a big plastic tote and then forget about it. I’d love to be able to learn some new habits to make a happier hubby!

    “SIMPLIFY ME!”

I love organization! I spend a good amount of my free time at home organizing materials or searching for better ways to organize. My latest organization attempts have been purchasing a portable closest as I only have one in my apartment. The second being organizing my spices, which helped create more counter space.

However, as a teacher I struggle with organization in my classroom. I could totally use some helpful tips!!!

SIMPLIFY ME!! My office is one huge project – tons of papers/articles/notes saved from pharmacy school that honestly need to go. I haven’t looked at them in the past few years, and I won’t in the next few years either! The other challenge is getting ready for my fiance (soon to be husband) to move in after we’re married. “Simplify Me!”

I use a weekly cleaning checklist with specific projects for each day. I end up spending no more that 45 minutes per day cleaning and my house is always in good shape for unexpected guests. I use to work in retail and this is the system the chain stores use. It really helps to always do a little every day instead of putting it off until it’s a big project.
