Fab Freebie: A Break From Boring

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries  – see who won below!***

According to random.org, our two giveaway winners are… Amy I. (who’d enjoyed a weekend away and then a few days at home for her pretend spring break) and DebbieRN (who’d go to Sanibel Island).

Don’t you wish there was a no-adult-left-behind official grown-up spring break? Since many of the kids in our county are out of school this week, it made us think about how nice it would be if every adult scored the same week-long break from the office grind. Luckily this week’s prize from The Office Stylist promises to inject some fun (and function) to your desk job. They’ve got loads of tips and services for amping up your workspace, including an online shop that’s stuffed with colorful and stylish organizational items  – from floral file folders to ceramic business card holders and everything in between. And they’re hooking two lucky winners up with $50 cards to spend however they’d like.

Sorting With Style Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift certificate towards Sorting With Style by The Office Stylist
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “GIMME A BREAK!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … pretend that every grown up got a spring break. What would you do? Would you go somewhere exotic? Would you just relax at home? Or would you throw a huge party for all the other on-break adults?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 20th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States and Canada!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Sorting With Style

I’d probably take a road trip around my home state — Michigan!! It’s been too long since I’ve been to the sand dunes on Lake Michigan or up into the U.P.

    GIMME A BREAK!!

I would go away from the crowds and head to the mountains. Usually during spring break, ski resorts out west still have a lot of snow but not a lot of people. It’s a great way to take advantage of good skiing at low prices.

I do get a spring break, as a college student, but I used it mostly to catch up on sleep! Otherwise I’d probably just travel around, seeing as much of my family as I can (they’re all over the country!)

GIMME A BREAK! As someone who spent the last few years taking a “real” adult spring break in Mexico, I’d just spend a week relaxing in DC. Sleep in late, wander around the city, cook big dinners to eat on the roof (when it’s not raining) and generally bum around!

I wouldn’t have to go anywhere – I just want to sleep late, watch my trash TV judge shows all morning, have a coffee with caffeine late in the day knowing I wouldn’t have to get up early the next day!

A week would not be long enough…oh to hit that lottery and retire!

I actually do get a spring break (I am a school nurse). Our most favorite spring break trip is out to Big Bend in TX. It is still cool that time of year, and it is SO DARK that you can see all the stars. We especially like the McDonald Observatory, where you can look through telescopes and see planets!

I would love to either do a staycation and explore more of my ever growing and changing hometown, plus we live by the beach so we should learn to appreciate what we have :) Or return to Paris or maybe check out the Cinque Terre in Italy(Why not do both…Eurail pass!). Our little baby boy (8 months old) is a great travel buddy and we love opening him up to new experiences, even at his age!
