Fab Freebie: A Break From Boring

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries  – see who won below!***

According to random.org, our two giveaway winners are… Amy I. (who’d enjoyed a weekend away and then a few days at home for her pretend spring break) and DebbieRN (who’d go to Sanibel Island).

Don’t you wish there was a no-adult-left-behind official grown-up spring break? Since many of the kids in our county are out of school this week, it made us think about how nice it would be if every adult scored the same week-long break from the office grind. Luckily this week’s prize from The Office Stylist promises to inject some fun (and function) to your desk job. They’ve got loads of tips and services for amping up your workspace, including an online shop that’s stuffed with colorful and stylish organizational items  – from floral file folders to ceramic business card holders and everything in between. And they’re hooking two lucky winners up with $50 cards to spend however they’d like.

Sorting With Style Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift certificate towards Sorting With Style by The Office Stylist
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “GIMME A BREAK!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … pretend that every grown up got a spring break. What would you do? Would you go somewhere exotic? Would you just relax at home? Or would you throw a huge party for all the other on-break adults?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 20th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States and Canada!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Sorting With Style

    Gimme a break!

Recently, I’ve been day dreaming about going to Alaska, though I’m pretty sure there’s still snow up there right now, so maybe that’s more of an August trip than an April one.

GIMME A BREAK!! I need a nice relaxing vacation somewhere tropical. Preferably on a private beach, laying on a hammock under some palm trees with a fun fruity drink in one hand and a good book in the other! :)

GIMME A BREAK! I do get a spring break every year!!! (I am a teacher)

I try to take a trip each year – usually a trip within the U.S. and very often involving snowboarding. We take our bigger out-of-U.S. trips in the summer when I have more time!

GIMME A BREAK! I would so go to Disneyland. Since I’ve never been there, I feel like a true adult spring break should be at the happiest place on earth! Everyone can place they real world care aside and be a kid for their days wrapped in the magic. Oh how sweet this would be!

GIMME A BREAK! Man… The possibilities are so endless. If I had friends who enjoyed the kinds of parties I’d throw, I’d throw them! But really, I think I’d like to spend a “spring break” watching people somewhere interesting (Europe? The beach? Bungie jumping at Six Flags?) and doodling them out. I need to work on my figure sketching abilities! I think it’d be kinda cool. How nerdy am I?
