Fab Freebie: A Break From Boring

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries  – see who won below!***

According to random.org, our two giveaway winners are… Amy I. (who’d enjoyed a weekend away and then a few days at home for her pretend spring break) and DebbieRN (who’d go to Sanibel Island).

Don’t you wish there was a no-adult-left-behind official grown-up spring break? Since many of the kids in our county are out of school this week, it made us think about how nice it would be if every adult scored the same week-long break from the office grind. Luckily this week’s prize from The Office Stylist promises to inject some fun (and function) to your desk job. They’ve got loads of tips and services for amping up your workspace, including an online shop that’s stuffed with colorful and stylish organizational items  – from floral file folders to ceramic business card holders and everything in between. And they’re hooking two lucky winners up with $50 cards to spend however they’d like.

Sorting With Style Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift certificate towards Sorting With Style by The Office Stylist
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “GIMME A BREAK!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … pretend that every grown up got a spring break. What would you do? Would you go somewhere exotic? Would you just relax at home? Or would you throw a huge party for all the other on-break adults?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 20th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States and Canada!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Sorting With Style

GIMME A BREAK! I would do all of the things around the house that I (feel like I) never have time for! Like paint furniture or bake a hundred baked goods!

GIMME A BREAK! 1/2 of the week I would spend the entire time camping out on a moonjump with my kids (THOSE THINGS ARE AMAZING). And the other 1/2 I’d hire Mary Poppins to babysit and have the honeymoon my husband and I never had…anywhere.

I would love an adult Spring Break and all, but I feel even more strongly about nap time being built into the work day. It worked in Kindergarten! ;-)

    GIMME A BREAK!

My husband and I would drive to the Gulf (about 6 hours away) and camp for a couple nights at Graten Beach and then get a nice hotel in Destin for a couple nights, then come home for a staycation in Atlanta for the last couple nights. Can you tell I have already thought about this?

I would definitely head to a beach – away from the kids, the house, and all the craziness of ordinary life. Just to sit and read a book would be exotic for me these days!

    Gimme a break!

Except that I do get one, sort of, as a teacher. Daytime school is on vacation this week, but nighttime school at the community college is not. So it’s a 3/4 vacation for my husband and I. For this week, we’ll settle for a little downtime. In an imaginary world, we’d be somewhere tropical right now. In reality, hopefully we’ll be there in August!
