Since many of the kids in our county are out of school this week, it made us think about how nice it would be if every adult scored the same week-long break from the office grind. I teach high school so I do have a srping break, but my husband is does not so I spend it at home doing things around the house. I would spend a spring break with both of us off work at the beach.

If I could do anything for spring break I wouldn’t want to do anything at all. I would probably spend the first day getting things together by tying up loose ends at school and finishing chores around the house. Then I would fly off to a beach, or just go outside, and read books and nap and cook really good food all week.

I guess I don’t pretend about spring break since I’m a teacher but I do have to say that come spring, I think teachers appreciate spring break more than students! My “dream” spring break is to spend it with my 4 month old daughter.
