Fab Freebie: A Break From Boring

***This giveaway is no longer accepting entries  – see who won below!***

According to random.org, our two giveaway winners are… Amy I. (who’d enjoyed a weekend away and then a few days at home for her pretend spring break) and DebbieRN (who’d go to Sanibel Island).

Don’t you wish there was a no-adult-left-behind official grown-up spring break? Since many of the kids in our county are out of school this week, it made us think about how nice it would be if every adult scored the same week-long break from the office grind. Luckily this week’s prize from The Office Stylist promises to inject some fun (and function) to your desk job. They’ve got loads of tips and services for amping up your workspace, including an online shop that’s stuffed with colorful and stylish organizational items  – from floral file folders to ceramic business card holders and everything in between. And they’re hooking two lucky winners up with $50 cards to spend however they’d like.

Sorting With Style Giveaway

  • PRIZE: A $50 gift certificate towards Sorting With Style by The Office Stylist
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “GIMME A BREAK!” and…
  • BONUS QUESTION: … pretend that every grown up got a spring break. What would you do? Would you go somewhere exotic? Would you just relax at home? Or would you throw a huge party for all the other on-break adults?
  • GIVEAWAY CLOSES: Wednesday, April 20th at 8pm EST
  • NUMBER OF WINNERS: Two
  • PRIZE SHIPS: The 50 United States and Canada!
  • USUAL STUFF: One entry per e-mail address is permitted. The winners will be selected using random.org and announced on Thursday as an update to this post. That’s right, come right back here on Thursday morning for the announcement of our winners. Good luck…

Note: We weren’t paid or perk’d for hosting this giveaway, we just like rewarding our lovely readers! See our Giveaway FAQs page for more info. Pics from Sorting With Style

GIMME A BREAK! I am on break because I’m student teaching! Other than working on lesson plans and completing my portfolio I’m just enjoying being able to sleep in and watching the Today Show. “Gimme a break” reminds me of kitkat bars though and now I really want one, along with the office organization goodies!

    GIMME A BREAK!

I would love a vacation at a exotic beach resort, like Bali. My fiance and I could use some time away together from our hectic lives.

GIMME A BREAK. .. but I have to admit: I’m a teacher, so I do get a break each year. My favorite way to spend it is just by staying at home. I use the time to enjoy my morning coffee, play with my baby, and do those projects that I never have time to do. Then, I spend the last weekend, getting ready for the last part of the school year. It’s wonderful!

    Gimme a break!

I would stay home. My husband and I just bought a new house (we moved in on Saturday) and there’s so much unpacking and sorting and organizing that needs to be done. I know it doesn’t sound like much of a break, but I cannot relax until there are no more boxes anywhere.

Or I would go to the beach. It really depends on how deeply we’re pretending.

Provided the weather is warm enough-here in Ontario it’s been snowing on and off for the past few days-ugh. I would throw a big neighbourhood block/street party with food stalls, buskers, fireworks, you name it.
