Fab Freebie: Get The ‘Facts

If you’ve ever strolled through Carytown in Richmond, you’ve hopefully hit up Modern Artifacts – a cool corner shop stocked with handmade goods like art, decor, tableware, and jewelry. They even have a few special sections, like an area that’s just for kids and a gallery space with framed art and photography (many from local makers). And even if you’re not a local, this week they’re dishing up a $250 gift card!

On top of that prize, one of our favorite vendors to Modern Artifacts is throwing in another $100 to spend in their Etsy shop. GaugeNYC makes all sorts of cool typographic accessories in metal – from delicate jewelry to chunky decor accessories and even cake toppers. We personally love the freestanding letters, and it’s not just because one of their photos happen to feature our initials.

Please use the Rafflecopter widget below to enter (it might take a second to load, but it should eventually pop up below this paragraph). This giveaway is available to residents of the United States (but there’s an international one in the hopper for you soon!).

You know wha I LOVE about your giveaways? You don’t use gimmicks to give extra entries, like “follow us on twitter”, “like us on Facebook”, “like the sponsors Facebook and Pinterest”. Not that I don’t already follow you on every platform :) but it’s just refreshing that everyone gets one vote and we don’t need to go to a million different sites to get extra entries.

Non-US resident here but I just want to throw in my agreement with the previous commenters about the ease of joining your giveaways.

I hope we can have the ability to “like” or thumbs up comments. :)

What’s the best way to check the contest winners these days? I haven’t noticed you adding a P.S. at the end of new posts linking to the latest giveaway. So I periodically just search “fab freebie” and look at the most recent post, but I feel like that’s inefficient and I’m missing something! Where did I go wrong and stop understanding the contest system? ;-)

I know I have said it before but I love your give aways. You make it easy and have the best goodies to offer. Love your simple class, just like your blog. Thank you.

I love Modern Artifacts! We live in the city, and it’s one of our favorite places to pop into when we walk around Carytown. They also have a fantastic back room of old retro furniture from the 50s/60s/70s.

It’s wonderful to see local stores represented! I would love to see you all do a tour of all of the fantastic local decor and furniture places in Carytown, there are so many, including ones that focus only on locally made and produced pieces.

I really fell for the emerald green curtains in your earlier post–are they absolutely out of the question now? I feel they would look great with the blinds you chose. The color scheme you ended with looks lovely, but the emerald green curtains seem younger and more “Sherry & John” to me! Looking forward to the final outcome! I enjoy every post–thanks so much for what you do!

I love giveaways! I was so excited and surprised when I saw GaugeNYC listed as one of the prizes. We used their letters as a cake topper for our wedding last year! :)
