Fab Freebie: City Love

***This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

This week’s TWO lucky winners are… Maria G (who loves Kansas City despite being under 12-15″ of snow at the moment) and Fiona (who loves her hometown of Washington DC so much she even loves the traffic). Congrats you two!

Today marks the seven year anniversary of our move to Richmond, VA. Woo hoo! It’s crazy to think that it has been that long, and to celebrate this week’s giveaway is from a city-minded artist: Kimberly of Albie Designs. We’ve had her charming illustration of New York City hanging in our hallway o’ frames for as long as there has been a frame collection there (my sister bought it for Sherry for her birthday a few years back). And now Kimberly has released a Richmond city print. So whether you want her new RVA work of art, or others from around the country (and even the globe) you’ll get your pick thanks to the $100 gift card that she’s offering up to two lucky winners.

  • PRIZE: An $100 gift card to Albie Designs on Etsy

While we don’t live there anymore (we’re Richmonders now!), I will always have a soft spot for Portland. It’s where my husband and I got married and bought our first house, and it’s a really, really awesome little city with great food, great architecture, a wonderful working waterfront, and lots of day trips within a short drive. Visit, if you haven’t been!

I LOVE BOSTON, MA! I was born in Boston, NY and was “reborn” (I feel like I was able to grow into myself” when I went to Boston, MA for college. I moved away for a couple of years for work, but am excited that I will be moving back there in a few months for another “rebirth” (I’m going to school for interior design!).

I LOVE LONG BEACH, CA!!! I was born here, but raised in STOCKBRIDGE, GA (LOTS OF LOVE HERE TOO!)…and moved to California right after high school. It’s where I made so many memories and I’m so proud that I’ve come so far (from living with roommates, to now living on my own at the brink of finally Graduating from my Master’s Program.

I just love Long Beach and everyone I’ve met living here that’s had a huge impact on me personally and professionally :-)

    I love Charlotte!

It’s got it all…big city feel but still pretty small, close to mountains and the beach, nice Southern people, and great weather. Oh! And the fact that all of my family is here. ;)

I love Venice, Italy! I spent a summer there working for their Environment Department. It was one of the most amazing times in my life. Mangia Mangia!

I’ve only spent 10 days there, but it was the best 10 days ever! I loved everything about NYC and it was such a dream come true. I can’t wait to go back!
