Fab Freebie: City Love

***This giveaway is now closed – see who won below!***

This week’s TWO lucky winners are… Maria G (who loves Kansas City despite being under 12-15″ of snow at the moment) and Fiona (who loves her hometown of Washington DC so much she even loves the traffic). Congrats you two!

Today marks the seven year anniversary of our move to Richmond, VA. Woo hoo! It’s crazy to think that it has been that long, and to celebrate this week’s giveaway is from a city-minded artist: Kimberly of Albie Designs. We’ve had her charming illustration of New York City hanging in our hallway o’ frames for as long as there has been a frame collection there (my sister bought it for Sherry for her birthday a few years back). And now Kimberly has released a Richmond city print. So whether you want her new RVA work of art, or others from around the country (and even the globe) you’ll get your pick thanks to the $100 gift card that she’s offering up to two lucky winners.

  • PRIZE: An $100 gift card to Albie Designs on Etsy
  • TO ENTER: Comment on this post with the words “I LOVE [INSERT CITY NAME HERE]” and tell us…

I love Blacksburg, VA! I guess not really a city, technically :) , but it is the town where my husband and I met in college!

I Love Seattle!! My husband and I visited a few years ago and I feel in love. It is gorgeous and I love the weather. It is the place that I always dream about going back to!

  2. Mandy B. says

I LOVE NOLA! I’ve only been a couple of times, but with my BFF. The architecture is beautiful, the tragedy haunting, the food, divine.

  3. Carly Cleghorn says

    I love Brilon!

I’ve never been to Germany–never even left the country–but this summer I will get to meet my lover’s family after a quick skip and a hop across the Atlantic. (I promise, Mama, I didn’t pick him for an excuse to fly to Europe!)

I love Chicago…it’s got everything! Big city with a small town feel. And the lakefront and snowy winters and amazing summers. Midwest is best :)

  4. Martha says

I LOVE VANCOUVER, BC! It is where my husband and I lived when our three year old was born. We’re back on the east coast but it will always have a special place in my heart.

I know it’s predictable, but I absolutely love that city. The energy, the insanity, Broadway, and the endless possibilities. I love it all.

  6. Rebecca B. says

I love Pittsburgh! My husband and I met there, and I actually bought him Kimberly’s Pittsburgh print last year for our anniversary.

Normally I wouldn’t say that, but I’ve grown up around the area and recently gone on a few 5Ks around the city that have made me appreciate it much more. The weather is usually nice too! :)
