Fab Freebie: Things We Love

After an excitement and entry filled holiday giveaway we’ve crowned our big winner. Well, random.org has crowned a winner. And she is… Nina (who’s planning to soak up and celebrate the magic of the season with her toddler, babe, and hubs this week as well as do some gift wrapping, toy assembling, and cookie baking by the light of the tree). Congrats!

Oprah has Favorite Things. Martha has Good Things. We have Things We Love (okay, so maybe it’s not as catchy or scream-and-cry-on-national-TV-worthy, but we tried). The point is that we’ve rounded up five prizes that we heart, covering a whole range of topics that we love talking about ’round these parts – from art and tools to cleaning and ceramic animals. All in all, it’s nearly $750 worth of goodies for one lucky reader! So without further ado, here’s what one of your stockings will get stuffed with this week:

Thing We Love Giveaway

  2. An $150 gift certificate from 20×200 – One of our favorite spots for fresh original art, including the bicycle print that my sisters got me for my birthday last month. There are lots of ways to spend your $150, like splurging for a framed piece.

    Happy Holidays! I’ll be teaching my class right up to the 23rd. Then I plan on living in pj’s and cuddling up by our fire place for most of the week!

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS! With both a newborn and a critically ill child 9and a busy, healthy toddler in the middle), we have kind of a free pass this season, so we’re saying no to things we don’t want to do, and yes only to things we love. Shopping and wrapping are done-ish, so we’re napping when the kids nap, indulging in some favorite foods and enjoying time with family…

    Happy Holidays!

    We are easing into “baking mode” at our house. We have found that if we bake the holiday goodies too early, there are none left to enjoy on Christmas. So, we will spend the next couple of evenings making one sweet thing per night. By Christmas Eve, we will be all stocked up to leave some cookies out for Santa!

    This week I will be celebrating with my father on his 60th birthday! After that I get to spend Christmas with my husband and his wonderful family. This will be our first Christmas together and our first Christmas as husband and wife.

    I have to wrap presents (that have yet to arrive yet) and still do some grocery shopping for the Christmas meal! It’s the first time we’re hosting and the first Christmas in our new house! :)
