Fab Freebie: Things We Love

After an excitement and entry filled holiday giveaway we’ve crowned our big winner. Well, random.org has crowned a winner. And she is… Nina (who’s planning to soak up and celebrate the magic of the season with her toddler, babe, and hubs this week as well as do some gift wrapping, toy assembling, and cookie baking by the light of the tree). Congrats!

Oprah has Favorite Things. Martha has Good Things. We have Things We Love (okay, so maybe it’s not as catchy or scream-and-cry-on-national-TV-worthy, but we tried). The point is that we’ve rounded up five prizes that we heart, covering a whole range of topics that we love talking about ’round these parts – from art and tools to cleaning and ceramic animals. All in all, it’s nearly $750 worth of goodies for one lucky reader! So without further ado, here’s what one of your stockings will get stuffed with this week:

Thing We Love Giveaway

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! I’m planning lots of snuggling by the Christmas tree with my two favorite men – Matt and Hansel (I’ll let you guess who is the dog!), and I just finished the third batch of treats for give-aways! Going to Augusta, GA for the Christmas weekend and hoping to fully enjoy the family!

    Happy Holidays! This week the kids will hopefully finish their week of school (weather permitting), we will clean clean clean, paint the dining room, go to a solstice celebration at the children’s museum, make cookies, host a festivus party, make presents, go to a farolito walk for the first time ever, and then let our kids finally. unwrap. presents. Good times!

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
    We are on a DIY streak at my parents house, we just finished redoing a bathroom for them, are part way through redoing a cabinet for them and I am doing several sheetrock touchups as well. Then family is coming to town in a few days and we will spend time with them!

    Just arrived in MI from TN and got to meet my friends new twins! Then visiting more friends and family! It’s always busy when I can return to my hometown but so worth it!

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS! I’m done shopping, but I have a little wrapping left to do and then a whole lotta packing to do. My family will be traveling about 12 hours, so I’ve two kids, 2 adults, a dog and a whole lotta presents to put in one vehicle…can you say creative packing?

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Our holiday agenda is a bit on hold. I am 15 weeks pregnant and on bed rest due to complications. so, I have tried to make good use of my time by making everyone ornaments inspired by a post on this site and my new addiction: pinterest! (hey there is only so much you can do in bed, at least its super fun!) I also decided to crochet some scarfs, make a ‘baby farm’ sign for my husband (like on tori and dean), and i love to paint so im trying to make everyone’s gifts within those activities, and i think its going to be the best Christmas yet! ;)

    Happy Holidays!!! My husband, 1 yo son and I are traveling from NC to VA (near Virginia Tech area) to see my dad and other family members this year. This time of year has not been great to us as far as gift giving since my husband is about to transition to a new job so we might have to have Christmas in February for all other family members and my husband. We managed to squirrel away enough money to get a gift for our son even if he won’t remember it. I might try to do some crafty gifts that don’t need to be bought…. but where do I find the time! IT’S CRUNCH TIME!
