Fab Freebie: Things We Love

After an excitement and entry filled holiday giveaway we’ve crowned our big winner. Well, random.org has crowned a winner. And she is… Nina (who’s planning to soak up and celebrate the magic of the season with her toddler, babe, and hubs this week as well as do some gift wrapping, toy assembling, and cookie baking by the light of the tree). Congrats!

Oprah has Favorite Things. Martha has Good Things. We have Things We Love (okay, so maybe it’s not as catchy or scream-and-cry-on-national-TV-worthy, but we tried). The point is that we’ve rounded up five prizes that we heart, covering a whole range of topics that we love talking about ’round these parts – from art and tools to cleaning and ceramic animals. All in all, it’s nearly $750 worth of goodies for one lucky reader! So without further ado, here’s what one of your stockings will get stuffed with this week:

Thing We Love Giveaway

  2. An $150 gift certificate from 20×200 – One of our favorite spots for fresh original art, including the bicycle print that my sisters got me for my birthday last month. There are lots of ways to spend your $150, like splurging for a framed piece.

    I am finishing up teaching the last week of school before Christmas break (public school waits to the very last minute) and then it’s time to make some cookies with my husband before the big days come!

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS!! Since I just finished waiting in line (forever) at the USPS, all my out-of-towners are covered and I can now focus on my own family. So, a little local gift shopping and more cookies to be made!

    This is our first Christmas with our son who will be 12 weeks old on Thursday. We’re incredibly happy and feeling so overwhelmingly blessed! We’re heading to the beach to do our own thing and invited some family to join us. SO looking forward to it!

    HAPPY HOLIDAYS! Only thing left is to pick up a cake on Christmas Eve. My 2 year old has consistently requested a power ranger cake from Santa…so that’s what he is getting.

    Happy Holidays!!

    This week we have: LOTS of Christmas shopping to do (hopefully my husband knocked most of it off today while he was with his mom) and lots of tests and appointments at the OB’s office (oh joy). Friday can’t come soon enough (when we’ll be celebrating Christmas with my family … then Saturday with his)!

    I’m a professional musician and will be playing in the orchestra for Nutcrackers until the cows come home. At some point I’ll get to sleep in my own bed and then hopefully St. Nick will come with bells on. I’ve been good this year…
