After an excitement and entry filled holiday giveaway we’ve crowned our big winner. Well, random.org has crowned a winner. And she is… Nina (who’s planning to soak up and celebrate the magic of the season with her toddler, babe, and hubs this week as well as do some gift wrapping, toy assembling, and cookie baking by the light of the tree). We are trying to finish up our master bathroom remodel and installing new carpet all before the in-laws arrive. I don’t recommend anyone doing this 2 weeks before Christmas…it’s been pure craziness! Ha, ha!!

I am heading back home to Texas this week and boy am I excited. Some think I’m crazy….because I live in Hawaii….but I’m ever so excited to wear a sweater, see trees with no leaves, and eat chick-fil-a. Christmas just hasn’t been the same this year with our oldest daughter (age 7) at Disneyland without us! We would’ve liked to go but we don’t have an iRobot Scooba 230 so she went with the grandparents for five days and we stayed home and mopped the floors the old fashioned way. Luckily she’ll be home tomorrow and we can get down to the business of Christmas before all the partying begins! Woot woot.
