I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. My favorite Target score ever was a pair of mid-century inspired vases I bought a few years ago on the cheap. I love finding random decor surprises at Target. Admittedly, I also adore the Archer Farms cookies, esp. the key lime cookie straws and some kind of chocolate-dipped wafer cookie that is to-die-for good.

I’m a target lady! FOR SURE. My favorite thing I bought was back in college when I went there at LEAST twice a week. I bought two blue, white, orange, yellow, and red striped bowls that I can’t bear to part with. They look a lot like the cups that Lynette Scavo uses on Desperate Housewives. Perhaps their set dresser got them from Target too? :)

I love blue and brown and white… so recently my husband wanted me to switch it up so at TARGET I found awesome orange towels that matched our soap and rubber ducks so I got the towels for $3.00 each and the bathroom looks really great!

My favorite thing we’ve gotten from Target has been some Mossimo jeans…. that I picked up nearly 7+ years ago! I got too big for them, so I packed them away, and they’ve moved with us to different duty stations, and now to FL. After having the lapband done two years ago, I was able to put those bad boys back on, and they’re still my favorites all these years later. Lol.

I’ve scored so many great deals there – some gems that come to mind: a $12 jewelry armoire (originally somewhere around $50), $.50 chargers that are actually so pretty I hung them on my wall as artwork, $15 king sheet set … the list goes on! I also love that you can buy a pair of shoes there for $20 or less and get more compliments on them than a pair on which you spent 3x as much!!
