I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. I get something great whenever I get to go to Target. My favorite- two clear glass lamps with open bottoms so you can put stuff in them (ornaments, spiders for halloween, etc). Clearanced for under $4 each!!!!!!!! WOO-HOOO!!!!

I worked at a target in college, so I’ve gotten TONS of stuff from that wonderful store over the years. I guess the most useful was a desk that moved from dorm room, to first apartment, to first house with me before FINALLY having to be retired.

My very favorite Target score is a tie between the lamps and the curtains I used in our daughter’s nursery. They ended up being THE perfect shade of pink (couldn’t find it anywhere else) and the texture on the shades and the curtains was AMAZING. I love them to this day (over a year later)!

I’M AM TARGET LADY My sweety pie got me a large buddha candle holder for my b-day that I had been watching for the price to go down forever. It didn’t go down but my sweety actually remembered on my b-day and totally surprised me. He’s never bought me any decoration items unless I ask for it, so it was totally unexpected for me.
