Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’m a target lady!!!!! I am obsessed with my target-brand ugg knock-offs (or ‘tuggs’, as I call them) since they make Boston winters bearable and are half the price of the real thing!

    I’m pretty much there all of the time and can’t get out of there without spending $100, so this GC would help tons…for at least one visit :).

    My favorite thing I ever got there was a scarf that I got for my past birthday. It’s very pretty, not especially warm but it makes any day colorful!

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

    I shop at Target for everything so it’s pretty difficult to chose my favorite item. I’ll probably have to go with the white Carson Anywhere Desk I bought just a few months ago. It fits perfectly into this awkward space left between our couch and wall and allows me a place to work, craft, or check emails!

    I bought a dining room table and 4 chairs for my first apt. after college. Now, it’s still in our dining room, its held up great for 400 bucks

    I’M A TARGET LADY!! I was so excited about this because I recently scored an amazing deal from Target! There were these shoes (Osaka Mary Janes to be exact) that I loved from Target, but my store was sold out! I called around to different stores, and repeatedly visited, hoping to come across a pair, but without much real hope. Well one day, I actually stumbled upon them! Hiding in the back behind some other out of season shoes were a pair of the shoes IN MY SIZE! For $2.48!!!!!!! So I bought them. And I loved them so much, I bought two more pairs online, even though they didn’t have my size in stock, and I love them even in the wrong size. Yay Target!!!

    My favorite thing ever purchased at Target is a wreath I bought last week on sale! It’s so pretty and I am dying for Thanksgiving to get here so I can decorate for Christmas (I know, I know… a little eager). I’m sure there are other things I have bought from Target that I love but who can remember that far back? haha.

    I’m a TARGET lady!! I love their sales..I snagged a pink piggy bank with a tutu and princess crown, that I think retails for $19.99 and I got it for $2.99!!! My lil girl LOVES putting her money in it!

    I’m a Target Lady!

    My favorite buy at Target is most definitely 2 dec pillows I picked up a few years back. They are a black and white pattern and they have followed me to every apartment I’ve rented in NYC and somehow managed to fit into whatever decorating vibe I’m into at the moment!

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!

    I don’t think I can pick just one thing. Target is my “happy place.” Anytime my fiance and I drive by, I simply savy, “I love you target.” Just walking in makes me feel good!

    I upholstered a headboard in mustard yellow and grey fabric. The bedding I got from Dwell Studio matches perfectly. I get so many compliments on that room and it was the cheapest one in the house to decorate!

    I’M A TARGET LADY! Sadly, there are NO target stores in the entire state of Vermont, BUT I’ve found ways to make some target purchases, including many items for baby showers. Sooo adorable!

    I’M A TARGET LADY! I have many target ‘favorites’ but by far the one I use the most is a Victoria Hagan pitcher (on clearance for like 2.97!!!) that I keep freshly brewed iced tea in. It is such a nice afternoon treat in such a pretty pitcher.

    I love target! I bought this beautiful mirrored tray from Target that sits in my family room. I paid only 20 bucks for it but it looks and feels like its worth so much more. Love it!

    My favorite item is our stainless steel combo coffee/espresso maker that we scored on the Clearance rack (sans box) for $11! I think I could do a lot with $100 :)
