I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. I’m a target lady… my favorite purchases (lamely) were the tons of free single serving cereals we got after coupons. A little less lamely, I’m also a big fan of the faux-leather ottoman we got there for a great price.

“I’M A TARGET LADY” – At LEAST once a week. My favorite item I got there recently was my set of silk curtains in the PERFECT color to match a headboard I made myself some years before. It completely brought the old room back to life and made a great place for my mom to relax after a hospital stay. And they were CHEAP.

The best thing I’ve ever scored at Target was 600 Pampers Crusiers for $60. It was last Christmas and Pampers was switching out their “old crusiers” for the new ultra-thin ones and I randomly found a Target that had about 8 HUGE boxes on deep clearance plus I had a slew of coupons to add on. With 2 kids in diapers, it was a total score to not have to buy diapers for about 3 months!

I have this awesome pair of boots that I got on clearance for $15. They’re super cute, they’re comfy despite 3″ heels, they’re so waterproof that they’re my rainy day shoes, and everyone thinks they’re leather instead of cheap plastic. Best $15 I ever spent.

My checkbook has Target in it so many times weekly, I should own stock in Target. Our best deal was buying a Dyson animal, they had it on sale for $429 and it is my favorite thing I have ever purchased there. I know, I am crazy, but I LOVE vacuums. Target is the only store I shop, besides a grocery store. My family makes fun of me, but that’s OK.

While there on one of my near-daily trips, I found a sham I’d seen online and loved 10x more in person! It is a white sham with zinnia stamps in various shades of blues, aquas, and greens, and it is totally the color inspiration for my son’s new room! I finally found a 2nd sham at another Target store a month or so later, and now I have 2, should I need 2 for a bed accent or something.
I love the inspiration…and the groceries, cute PJs, and great deals that I find at Target!

I’m a Target Lady! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE(!!!) my daughters quilt. It is from the Circo “Love & Nature” collection at Target. It was quality, affordable and absolutely beautiful! WE pulled colors from it fro the walls, furniture and all the accessories. It is the lynch-pin for her entire room decor, I think it’s amazing!
