Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’m a Target Lady.
    My favorite is a clearance purchase – a blanket that can be folded up and has a handle for carrying. It’s great for the soccer games and other outside activities to wrap up in or lay on the ground. I keep it in the car so it’s always available.

    I am a TARGET LADY!!!!!! I have been in love with Taget from the very firt second that I ever stepped in there. My absolute favorite thing from target…a pregnancy test that I just bought!!!!! We have been trying to get pregnant for over 4 years! the doctors said it was not going to happen but low and behold–Yay God!!!!

    My favorite item? Can’t remember.. But my favorite thing Target does is partner with high end designers so we can get a taste of their style/products without paying the big bucks. :)

    “i’m a target lady…we’re a target family!” i love to look through the organizing/bins section and dream about everything having it’s perfect spot in my house. but my 3 boys enjoy “playing” in the cars aisle and asking “can we get this for Christmas?”…even if it is the middle of the summer!

    While we don’t have a Target nearby, I’ve ordered a few things from them on-line. Probably my favorite thing was the dresser I bought last year. It’s really great and only cost about $250.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!

    I just recently scored a nice little piece of clearance. I’d seen it the week before, but didn’t get it. I’m glad I didn’t though because it was on clearance even MORE the next week! It’s a Simple Life grocery list checklist. It has 2 sturdy magnets on the back so you can put it on your fridge and when you run out of something, you just check it off or write it on there. Then, when it’s time to go to the store, you rip off that page, leave the next clean page in it’s place, and head to the grocery! It’s super helpful! :)

    My favorite target purchase is a vintage looking patterned table cloth from their home line. It was exactly the style and colors of what I was looking for and it washes really really well – which I can’t say for some of the table cloths I have purchased in the past.

    I don’t know if I can pick one favorite purchase… the first one that jumps into my mind is a gorgeous “silver” and crystal garland for my Christmas tree that actually looks like jewelry… I’d been drooling over a more expensive Pottery Barn version and I was so excited to find it at a Target price!

    I’M A TARGET LADY!! I can’t even begin to tell you but I’m there 2+ times per week. One of my best scores was one of those great quilts they have that start at like $129 (king size) I got for like $25. I’ve also gotten jeans for $7 and a cardigan for $2.

    My favorite is my fruit dish towels. They’re graphic and bright and they help set the mood for my whole kitchen and distract from the ever-present ugly kitchen features of apartment living.
