Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!

    My favorite thing, by far, was the PERFECT little table I got to go in my first apartment’s entryway. It fit just right, was a great place to rest your keys, mail, etc. when you walked in, matched all my other furniture, AND I got 15% off because of a tiny, unnoticeable ding on the side.

    Then my boyfriend sold it accidentally in a moving sale and I literally could not speak to him for the rest of the night I was so angry. And I really don’t ever get angry, but that was one damn fantastic entryway table.

    I’m a Target Lady!!! I heart target. Target makes me swoon and drool. I just bought a totally awesome mustard-colored scarf there, with matching gloves…probably not my FAVORITE purchase, but I buy too many things there to name a favorite. oooh ooh ooooh pick me! (fingers crossed)

    I’m a fancy Target Lady! My favorite purchase from Target has been a pair of sensible yet sassy red patent flats. They were on clearance and I loved them so much I bought them 1.5 sizes bigger because that was all they had in stock. 4 years later, those shoes have defined me and I am having the hardest time replacing them!

    I’m a target lady! My favorite purchase has to be our purple lamp that I bought a couple months ago. It gives a great punch to our downstairs.

    I’m a Target Lady! A long time ago (I’m talking 12 years ago) I bought a pop-up hamper for $5 and I still have it to this day, it looks brand new and I can’t find anything like it!!

    My favorite item was a cubby with 9 shelves that my husband and I got for a wedding gift. I love going there for everything from home decor, to greeting cards, to clothes and more!

    I’ve gotten so much great stuff from Target, but sitting on my desk right now is a small white and pink Liberty of London picture frame (with a picture of–what else?– my kitties) that I got there a while ago. I love it!

    I’m a target gal and my favorite item I have ever bought absolutely has to be from the liberty of london collection this spring– a teal-ish paisley comforter set! its beautiful and just thick enough for me and cool enough for my hubs. Love the blog :)

    I’m a Target Lady! I love shopping at Target. There is just so much. I love my blue dvd bins that I use in our playroom. They are functional and they add that pop of color in our room. Well and of course they match the play mats in the room too. :P

    My most-favorite-ever Target purchase is a very simple, white creamer that we use almost every day to heat-up and serve-up our pure maple syrup. It’s functional, sleek and best of all, it was on CLEARANCE.

    I love so many things in Target. My favorite purchase would probably be a beautiful clock that hangs on the wall in our living room. It has a working pendulum that swings back and forth. It’s very rustic looking and we always get lots of compliments on it when people come over.

    My latest awesome score was snatching up one of the Dwell Studio bedding sets for my guest room for $20! I had my eye on it for a while, and stumbled in to find it on clearance marked down from $90. That made my day :)

    I’m a Target lady! My favorite Target purchase was a pharmacy style lamp that I scored on clearance for $5! Looks just like the Pottery Barn versions but was obviously a tiny fraction of the price. That buy made my day and I still feel a little proud of myself every time I look at it! ;)

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

    My favorite Target purchase is definitely a mail sorter/desk organizer that has three openings for photos in the front.

    I also love their ornaments. Last year my roommate and I played a dorky game where we picked one out for each other (while we were both in the store) and revealed when we got to the car. Great holiday decorations!

    I’M A TARGET LADY!!

    I absolutely love the leopard-print umbrella I bought at Target a few years ago. It’s big enough to cover me, my hair, and the two or three bags I’m usually schlepping around with me! Also, it has a pointy end, so it’s a secret defensive weapon! LOVE IT!
