Fab Freebie: The Target Lady

I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

We don’t really need to waste time reminding you guys how much we love Target (we’ve got about a million posts like this and this to prove it). I even created this graphic to try to convey how excited we are:

And while I always love a good opportunity to reference SNL’s Target Lady, this time I’m going to mention a different woman paired up with the red bullseye: HGTV’s Sabrina Soto. Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. She’s even got a bunch of tip-filled videos over on Target’s styleboutique blog.

    I love the wine tower I bought at Target.com five years ago- it looks just like the one from another store (I won’t mention names, but it rhymes with Plate & Carol!) and arrived in perfect condition, free shipping, I could rave on and on!

    Waaaaay too many great things have been scored at Target to narrow it down to just one!! But if I had to pick–side table in guest bedroom that was bought black, painted white, and is back to black currently.

    My favorite thing from target was my son’s play pen. It’s eddie bauer and I love it cause it’s black, grey and blue…..and not the typical primary or pastel baby colors.

    I scored King size sheets for $17 on clearance! Surprisingly they are one of the softest sets I own And have a nice design.

    I could never narrow down my purchases from Target to 1 thing, but last spring I picked up a wrought iron bird figurine for $4.99 that looks exactly like the ones PB sells for 5 times more. Score.

    I’M A TARGET LADY! My favorite Target purchase is the Blue Woolrich rug that I use in my living room. It is shades of blue and offwhite and I stalked it for a good sale for months before buying it. But I love it so much I totally would have paid full price if I had to!

    I’m a Target lady and my favorite score was a Graco snug ride car seat and the matching stroller. It was on clearance for $99 which is pretty good- the regular price of the car seat alone, but it rang up for…. $35!! Seriously, the best deal ever! Love Target :)

    I found some sweet square shelves in the kids department with nice rounded corners. They painted up really cute. I ended up giving them to a friend when I moved across the country because she liked them so much.

    I’M A TARGET LADY!

    My favorite thing ever purchased at Target was a down comforter. It was so amazingly warm, and when I stayed on my parents’ boat one winter, I brought it with me. Unfortunately it began to smell like diesel fuel from staying on the boat and I had to get rid of it, but MAN I loved that thing!
