I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. I’ve scored so many great things at Target (especially on the end cap clearance sections). But the one that comes to mind right now is this round, velvet tufted pillow in a beautiful peacock blue that I found on an end cap marked down to $10. Even better was when I got to the checkstand and learned it had been further reduced to $5!!! Score!

I’m a TARGET LADY! Target is certainly one of my favorite stores. It’s a great place to pick up clothes, cards, snacks, make-up, home goods, shoes…I’ve bought it all! Sometimes I just enjoy browsing through and seeing what to add to my “must-have-soon” list. My favorite Target items would probably be the 3 espresso bookcases my husband and I have purchased and filled with books. We hope to get another soon!

An awesome mirror that hangs above our fireplace. We registered for it but no one got it for us ($75), then when we went back to return some things for our wedding it was marked down to $25! And we had a gift card, so it was really free!! It’s really cool, versatile and classic all at the same time. It’s PERFECT!

I don’t have a favorite simply because I have purchased approximately 267,415 items from there over the past few years and could not possibly remember them all let alone chose just one main ‘score’. However I will also say that their $1 section at the front of the store can be a welcome site to mothers of toddlers (crap you can hand them to entertain them in the store, then put back before you check-out!).

I try to limit myself to one trip there per week and my hubby wishes that I was joking about that.
