I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

Sabrina is Target’s “Style Expert for Home,” which means she’s serving up design tips to to those of us who like affordable Tar-jay wares and coming home to a stylish space. They were on sale, originally they were $20 each, but I got them for $20 for both. & my husband has them hanging next to his Batman/Star Wars/Transformers stuff.

I’M A TARGET LADY. I go there for everything…we even have a super target…I’m obsessed. On rainy days, I take the kids there and we walk the toy isles to see the latest crazy.
I’d have to say my favorite purchase from there are our new “clearance” halloween decorations that we stocked up on for next year. The kids are stoked!

I absolutely love Target and I have several things purchased from there throughout my home. I’m thinking my favorite purchase is a modern quilt by Thomas O’Brian that I bought somewhere around five years ago…it has a nice weight to it and is still in very good shape after all this time. I also love Target’s floor lamps..I have four. And then there’s clothes and candles and… :)

Over the years I’ve found a ton of treasures, but one purchase that was especially awesome for us (we live in a restored, historic neighborhood with a TEENY, tiny kitchen) was our kitchen island! My husband and I got a leather club chair from there after our wedding. It was our first “adult” piece of furniture and we absolutely love it, even three years later.
How can you not love Target? It’s the only place in the world where you go in to buy laundry soap and end up spending at least $40 on random other things.

I have so many things from Target that it’s hard to pick a favorite buy. However, just this morning I was finishing some laundry and admiring a little zip up jacket that I purchased there last fall and wished I had bought all the other colors too. Isn’t that how it always goes with Target?
Oh yeah, I do LOVE my Dwell Studio tableclothes turned into drapes for my dining room mini-makeover in progress! They were super budget friendly at $21.99 per window! Cha-Ching!

I’M A TARGET LADY!! My fav find ever!! was some dishes that I had recently seen in a magazine and loved. I never really thought I’d get them though; it was a beautiful tablescape and in the “right” colors for me, but you know… Then I was shopping along in my Target and there they were! I literally stopped short. They were so fun!! Scallops and polka dots and the “linen” look…. And when I saw the very affordable price, I couldn’t help myself from loading a whole pile of them up in the cart. I replaced my more classic everyday dishes with them and smile very time I get them out. Not as versatile in color, but so very fun! I love them! :)

My favorite item from them is a red Indian-inspired print tote bag. Despite having dozens of purses, it ends up always being my casual go-to purse.
