I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

A couple of years ago we moved to Portland, OR from NYC. We were looking for new furnishings for our new abode at Target when I looked up and saw the most amazing photo on canvas of the New York skyline and we had to have it! It hangs in our dining room and it reminds us of our wonderful years in the Big Apple!

The best part of Target is walking down the ends of the aisles for the sales. The Yankee candle on my desk was snagged for only a $1!

What don’t i love getting from target…my clothes, my kiddo’s clothes, practically everything, but the one home-ish, decorating item is the seasonal vinyl placemets they sell that about $2 each. I love the fun, playfulness they bring to my kitchen table and the ease of keeping them clean and keeping my table clean. I have enough to use them all year round!
