I love today. Not just because it’s my 29th birthday, but because we are giving away a gift card to (drumroll, por favor)… TARGET!

But my favorite would have to be the pillows I have purchased. $5 for insert and $5 for cover, one solid orange and one white with large pear green dots that connect. Amazing!

I must admit that I LOVE Target’s dollar section. I always find the cutest things there for little crafts, educational materials, or just great stuff. My favorite find was a set of herbs with little pots to grow them in. Too bad I have such a black thumb and all the herbs died, but it was fun to have anyway!

My best score was an area rug which I was buying for what we call “the room with no name”…used to be our home office and when we closed shop we took out the officey stuff and never figured out what to call it!
We found a great rug with the style and colors we liked but there was no price tag on it, nor was it wrapped up like the other rugs there. A wonderful employee helped us and brought us to the register and told them to give it to us for $35. We later found that the rug was priced at $99!!!! Yep, this was a great score.

I loved how target had cute, affordable MATERNITY clothes when I was pregnant. For anyone who has had kids, you will notice that many places are coming up with much more stylish clothing for those sporting a baby bump, but target was the only place that wasn’t charging an arm and a leg for the stuff.
